You can almost predict a person’s success by the amount of time he takes to put an idea into action…if he ever does.

Sadly, many people have great ideas and all of us have opportunities, but only a very few will ever act.

Recently, I had a person who ordered a web site from us. He sent a note with his order saying that he had been thinking about this for 3 years. I’m glad he finally took action, but think of all the money, knowledge and experience lost that will never be made up.

No matter how well he does, he will always be 3 years behind. So, always try to act upon an idea quickly. Remember, lack of success does not come from taking action, but from doing nothing.

Google and Microsoft have made deals with Twitter. Microsoft has also made a deal with Facebook to include Twitter and Facebook updates into Bing search results.Google will be adding tweets to search results as well. There are also rumours that Google will make a similar deal with Facebook.

This makes it crucial and important for you and your business to consider a massive action in these booth networks to be found in ‘real time’ search results from Facebook and Twitter.

Let’s think a little bit about this news…

There are further important social networks, like MySpace or LinkedIn (with about 50 million businesses included), out there which also could be a target of such a deal.

The big players like Google and Bing start with the other big players in social networking and than they maybe go deeper to include the smaller networks also.

You know where you go to a site and you see those little three or four ads down the side of the page, Google AdWords or Google ads. Those are AdSense Ads.

In this report I want to tell you about a way to get cheap advertising with unlimited traffic. This is a place where buyers are many, and as you will learn, the Google Adwords quality score has been nearly eliminated. You need to be familiar with Google Adwords before this will make much sense to you. Google has plenty of free information about their Adwords program on their website.
The method that I‘m speaking of is Google Placement Ads. It used to be called site targeting, and for the people who understand how to use it, this method of advertising has made them a whole bunch of money.
Google Placement Targeting lets you choose the sites that you wish to run ads on and you get to advertise whatever you want. Since few people have heard of this method, there is less competition and your ads are displayed prominently on the sites that you choose.

Video Marketing – Coaching Club

Mike: Okay. Hey everybody. It’s Michael Gravette. Glad you’re able to make the call. I’m going to explain a little bit about how this works. I’m going to speak for a little while on a subject tonight, which is going to be on videos and using videos on your website. And then I’m going to open up to questions. And the way the system works is that you hit, if you want to ask a question you hit star six and that will put you in a queue. And I’m online right now and I can see when you’ve joined the queue. Then what I’ll do is I will take you one at a time and when it’s your turn I will tell you and you will hear me and obviously then you can ask your question. So it’s a nice little system. It works pretty well.

Twitter – Coaching Club

Mike: Hi everybody.  It’s Michael Gravette.  Welcome to Coaching Club call tonight.  So what I’m going to talk about tonight basically is Twitter.  Now I’m probably one of the last people should be talking about because I’m the world’s worst at it because it’s a pain in the butt because I really haven’t assigned any of my staff to do it.  So when it gets done I do it.  But it’s not that I don’t know how to do it smarter and quicker and easier, it’s just one of those things where we choose, we prioritize things.  So to me Twitter hasn’t been a big priority.

But at Platinum we have some people there who do Twitter a lot.  Dan’s always kidding them about it but these guys not only do they make sales but they generate, they build their list and that’s the main reason that I’m going to teach tonight is why you should do Twitter and it’s to build your list, to get people to sign up, to come to your website and sign up.

It’s very easy. It’s an effective way to get back links from highly relevant sites and you want to post the blogs within your niche. You can actually go out there and search yourself if you wanted to. You could put in like self-defense blogs or stun gun blog or pepper spray blog and you could start finding lists of blogs but you’d have to find ones that would allow you to post and that had sufficient page rank to them and that’s why Comment Kahuna is a great software.

For years that has been the tagline of New York and Washington sporstcaster Warner Wolf. He started that schtick back in the early 1980’s and is still doing it today. The thing is, back in the old days, videotape is actually what was used in the surveillance game. We have plenty of old movies and television shows that you see the old tape machines running, usually in the back of an old van that is too cramped, and full of old food cartons.

Today the cops and many others still do surveillance, but the technology is light years beyond what was being done in those days. In fact, today, just about anybody can have a great surveillance operation. We have the capability to watch things today that nobody was even thinking about in 1980.

Hidden cameras can be put in almost any item, ranging from clocks, mirrors, and boomboxes, to teddy bears. You can even put a hidden camera in a cannister of Clorox wipes. I remember trying to locate the camera in that one, and finally somebody had to show me where it was. (You’ll have to find out for yourself.)

There isn’t anymore videotape these days. Oh, you may still see some old systems around, but they are dinosaurs, and they don’t work very well unless conditions are perfect, if they work at all.

Todays surveillance systems work in any kind of weather, and can virtually see in the dark. And you can sit in a crummy old van if you want to, but the reality is that with an internet connection you can watch your home or business from the pool or beach in the south of France. (Your can go there now that the French got rid of that idiot Jackie Chirac, and put a real man at the helm.) Or if you’re still upset with the French, you can go to Spain, or Portugal, and do the same thing.

Installation of hidden cameras takes place in minutes, and a full blown surveillance system would only take a competent electrician a few hours. Then its up to you, but if you have any problems, we have people standing by to help you get everything running smoothly.

Hidden cameras and surveillance systems are new frontline warriors against theft, abuse, and many other problem situations. They are high powered insurance at a relatively low cost. The feedback we receive here is that the systems easily pay for themselves in the first year, and then go on to actually be a profit center. You can’t ask for more than that.

If you’re prepared, you’ll never be surprised.

I sent an email to my mailing list few days ago and mentioned Web 2.0. Now you may already be familar with it so you don’t need to read on. But, I received over 100 emails from people who did not know what it is and many thought it was a software program. So, I want to clarify what Web 2.0 is.

I want to keep this simple. My definition of Web 2.0 is any website, blog or forum that allows you to interact, too leave information, especially a link to your website. They are social sites.

For instance, if you visit someones blog and they allow you to make comments and leave your web address, that’s basic Web 2.0. If you visit a forum and make a comment and can leave a link to your website, that’s Web 2.0. Myspace.com and FaceBook.com are Web 2.0 and other sites like Squidoo.com, gather.com, hubpages.com, clipmark.com, digg.com and scribd.com are all Web 2.0 sites.

Now why is Web 2.0 important?

Because the search engines are starting to give authority rankings to many of these Web 2.0 websites. In other words, they consider these sites to be important. Because of this, they give links from these websites importance. One link from a prominent Web 2.0 site can be worth 100 links from regular websites. Plus, these are one way links. You do not have to link back from your website.

Because these websites are interactive, you are able to set up accounts and post information and give links to your websites. Google spiders these websites often, as often as every minute. If you have posted relevant information and included a link to your website and used keyword phrases that are not too competitive, its possible for your listing to be ranked in the top ten of Google within hours.

Someone sees this link, clicks on it, goes to the Web 2.0 site, clicks on your link and ends up on your website.

So, the main advantage to these Web 2.0 sites is that they can send a lot of targeted traffic to your website and help you in your search engine listings and page rank and its free.

There is a lot of information on Web 2.0 on the Internet. I will also be covering this subject in my Coaching Club.

You are going to start seeing more and more listings in a Google search from Web 2.0 sites. They will soon crowd out the other websites. If you are depending on organic search engine listing for traffic to your website, you had better get real familar with Web 2.0 quickly.

Already, when you search on Google, you will see Wikipedia listings, news listings, maybe a video from youtube.com, which is also a Web 2.0 site. Google refers to this as Universal search and will fully take over by the end of this year.

To stay up with this, you will need to post videos on youtube.com, set up lenses on squidoo.com, submit images to flickr.com, use Google Base, etc.
